Textured Acrylic Saturday 1st August 2pm

Join Carla for a guided workshop working with beautiful textured paint on canvas. 
 
Enjoy a couple of hours in Dash Design’s beautiful home studio and learn all about textured art. You’ll work with high quality materials and tools to create your own piece of art ready to hang at home to admire and enjoy. 
The workshop will start with a brief intro to the materials and technique including a look at some of Carla’s current work in the medium. We’ll then move into creating colour palettes that feel like you before getting the tools out to start dragging, sweeping, dotting and detailing your own personal piece.  
All materials providing including a stretched canvas in its own frame so it’s all set and ready to go! You’ll need to ensure you transport your work safely home, keeping it flat and allowing it 1/2 days to fully dry and cure before hanging. 
 
Drinks and refreshments provided, we may even be able to sit outside while our paint drys.

Parking is available in front of the house on the road and you can access the studio up the drive to the right of our garage and in the back gate to your left :) we’ll be looking out for you!
 
Please let Carla know if you plan to bring babes in arms and she will ensure there is a safe place for play. We kindly ask that if you intend to bring little ones they are not walking! We’d like you to be able to relax too and the studio may not be suitable for wandering hands. If you would like to do a creative workshop with older babies and children, get in touch with Carla directly to arrange a private workshop, perhaps with a friend or two!
